Bespoke Jewellery Services
At the heart of our work lies our bespoke jewellery design service. We have been designing and creating custom made jewellery for over 30 years, and our aim is to bring your jewellery ideas to life.
From Concept to Creation
We start with an initial consultation, and then work our magic. We produce designs for your jewellery either with pencil on paper drawings, or lifelike CAD design. On design selection we create a 3D wax model for your approval. Finally, your piece of jewellery is meticulously hand crafted in our onsite Werkshop, ready for you to treasure forever.
The six steps shown below are all it takes; and can be done by visiting our store in person, or virtually with replica models posted out, and Zoom consultations or demonstration videos showing the stones for your selection.
STEP 1
Consultation
Your bespoke journey begins with a personal consultation. Whether in our York studio or through a virtual appointment, we take time to understand your ideas, preferred style, gemstones, and budget. This is where we explore possibilities and begin shaping the concept for your piece.
STEP 2
Designing
Once we understand your vision, we move into the design stage. Here, we develop initial ideas using traditional pencil sketches or hand-drawn concepts, refining the style, proportions, and key features. This step ensures we establish the perfect direction before digital modelling begins.
STEP 3
3D Modelling
With the design direction agreed, we create a detailed CAD model of your piece. This digital representation shows the structure and finer details with precision. From the CAD design, we produce a 3D wax model, giving you the opportunity to view the piece in real form and approve proportions before crafting begins.
STEP 4
Crafting
Your piece is then handcrafted in our onsite Werkshop by our team of skilled goldsmiths. Using a combination of traditional techniques and modern precision, we bring the design to life, shaping, soldering, setting, and perfecting the form with meticulous care.
STEP 5
The Details
Finishing touches are where craftsmanship shines. From stone selection and setting refinement to final polish and feel, every detail is carefully perfected. This step ensures your piece not only looks exceptional but feels beautifully made.
STEP 6
Finished Jewellery
Your bespoke creation is now complete, a unique piece designed exclusively for you. Presented in its final form, it is ready to wear, love, and treasure for years to come.
